DES MOINES, Iowa — A new landmark clock tower is going up in Des Moines on Monday.

A crane was brought in to lift the top of the clock tower into place. The tower is part of a new brick apartment building being completed at Martin Luther King Parkway and Day Street, just north of Interstate 235.
