Des Moines developer Jack Hatch hopes to build single family homes on seven city owned lots in the vicinity of Interstate Highway 235 and Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway.

Later today, the Des Moines City Council will be asked to vacate and convey public rights of way to enable construction at the following addresses: 1120 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway; 1100 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway; 1055 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway; 1059 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway; 1037 18th Street; 1034 17th Street; 1050 16th Street.
